NEWSDecember 19, 2006 The 17-year old Hanoverian stallion Salieri has passed awaySalieri, the 17 year old massive black Hanoverian stallion by Salvano/Servus, sire of Salinero and his full brother Seven-UP - the only Equine full brothers ever to compete in the same Olympic Games (2004 Athens) had to be humanely euthanized due to a rapidly deteriorating hoof disease. Salieri was purchased as a weanling by Klaus Buenger, who raised and presented the stallion at the Hanoverian Stallion Inspection. His son, Dr. Frederic Buenger trained the horse to S level jumping and later handed the reins over to Holger Wulschner, who won several Grand Prix Jumping classes with Salieri and they became membera of the German National Jumping Team.
